TAMTA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to furthering the education of independent music instructors, providing educational and performance opportunities for music students, and promoting the art of music within our communities.
WELCOME TO TAMTA
Welcome to the Tulsa Area Music Teachers Association! Members of TAMTA are independent teachers of music who instruct students in a wide variety of instruments, including voice, as well as music theory and composition. We teach in home studios, commercial studios, and multi-teacher schools of music – and some of us will travel to your home.
TAMTA is the local affiliate of the state (OMTA) and national (MTNA) organizations of independent music teachers. Active members in good standing may enter students in local, state and national auditions and competitions. TAMTA also offers a number of scholarships for graduating seniors wishing to study music in college or to students who would like to attend summer music camps.
